#PPiMH Quality Improvement Special Interest Group

We would like to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves as the leads for the Quality Improvement Special Interest Group (SIG) with the Positive Practice in Mental Health Collaborative. We are Brent Kilmurray and Maureen Raine from Tees Esk and Wear Valleys (TEWV), and Helen Lee from Lancashire Care.

In May we held our first ever Quality Improvement SIG in York, hosted by TEWV and had a fantastic day listening to and learning from each other’s quality improvements.

We are hoping to build on this with our 2nd Quality Improvement SIG on 12th October 10-3 at the Imperial Hotel, Blackpool. It’s the same date and venue as the Positive Practice Annual Awards Ceremony so we are hoping that you can come up a little earlier if you are coming to the awards to share one of your quality improvements and learn from others.

The session will be a really interactive day in the form of a world café, with lots of opportunities to ask questions of those sharing their quality improvement work. So if you are interested in attending please book you’re your place via this link http://bit.ly/2sZXrFH If you would like to share your improvement please contact us.

Looking forward to meeting you on the 12th October,

Maureen, Brent and Helen
