Ann Cox  (Annie) – CAMHS Consultant Nurse and Clinical Lead for North Staffordshire Combined Health NHS Trust

Ann is also an independent prescriber and accredited Cognitive Behavioural therapist. Working in CAMHS for the past 17 years, Ann has developed expertise in working with younger age children. Ann has a keen interest for research and is coming toward achieving her Doctoral award in Nursing practice, in which Ann is researching how to involve children aged 8-12 years in decision making and consent processes in outpatient CAMHS. Ann is a Florence Nightingale Scholar and an RCN Foundation bursary awardee. Ann is a peer reviewer for a number of journals and publishers and is also associate editor for the Journal of Child Health Care. Ann has a number of publications in CAMHS clinical practice and is also is co-founding member of @CAMHSNetwork.


Rachel Bullock – Independent Nurse Prescriber within CAMHS, North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust.

Rachel is a mental health nurse with 18 years’ experience of working across both adult and children’s mental health services. Rachel’s background is formed of criminal justice settings, drug and alcohol services both inpatient, and community, acute care and more latterly CAMHS. Rachel has been instrumental in the transformation of neurodevelopmental pathways, in particularly, ADHD assessment and management. As a result, Rachel (and colleagues) has been awarded the CYP Positive Practice 2019 national award for Partnership/ Co-Production for her alignment with primary care. Rachel (and colleagues) has also been shortlisted for 2 Nursing Times Awards 2019 for nursing in Mental Health and Child and Adolescent Services categories.

Rachel is the co-founding member of the @CAMHSNetwork and is also co-lead for the PPiMH CYPMH Specialist Interest Group.
