“A happy,healthy workplace”. A Collaboration Between PPiMH and NCCMH

 

The Positive Practice in Mental Health Collaborative (PPiMH)  in conjunction with partner agency the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health (NCCMH) has launched a report on Staff Wellbeing, Recruitment and Retention in mental health and associated agencies.

“A happy, healthy workplace” provides examples of excellent working practices in the NHS, Third Sector and fire services.  This report sets out to offer practical solutions to some of the serious and widespread staffing problems we face in mental health.

 

The report was launched in the strangers dining room, in the House of Commons in Westminster on Wednesday 27thFebruary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Those in attendance included MP´s James Morris (Host), Philip Davies, Derek Twigg, Dan Jarvis, Nicky Morgan and Robert Buckland, as well as PPiMH Patron Professor Heather Tierney-Moore, and contributors to the report – Rosie Drage- Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Ben Towell – Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, Ellie Walsh – Navigo, Hirila Rose – Certitude, Sharon Gilfoyle and Emma Byrom – Cambs & Peterborough NHS Trust and Phil Garrigan – Mersey Fire.  There were also representatives, from many other organisations, including partners NCCMH.
