Are you from a black and minority ethnic (BME) background? Do you use our services, or do you work with people who use our services?
We are supporting a research study called CoACtiON, which looks at whether clinical interactions are adapted for different cultures.
Dr Manreesh Bains, our Build Modify Expand Lead, is the local principal Investigator for this study, and is being supported by the Trust’s research team.
We need your help
To help with our research we want to speak to anyone who is from a black and minority ethnic background who uses our services, or are a member of staff who works with service users from a BME background.
The three key areas you can help us with are:
If you are a clinician of any ethnicity who provides a clinical service to BME service users, please take a look through our PIS Cultural Adaptations For Staff document.
If you are happy to, it would be great if you could complete our Culturally Adapted Assessment Questionnaire For Staff.
Work with service users
If you work with any of our BME service users, please encourage them to complete our PIS Cultural Adaptations Service Users For Service Users document.
If they are happy to, please ask them to complete, or support them with completing our Culturally Adapted Assessment Questionnaire For Service Users.
The research team can support any service users with completing the questionnaire if they need it.
If you are a service user from a BME background, please take a look at our PIS Cultural Adaptations Service Users document.
If you are happy to, please complete our Culturally Adapted Assessment Questionnaire For Service Usersand return to the address below.
